Hi, I'm Ilya—founder of Maverick Insurance Group and someone who believes insurance should be as bold and personal as the people it protects.

I was born in Ukraine and raised in Washington State, where I developed a deep appreciation for resilience and community. My journey into insurance began in 2022 while I was attending ministerial college in Florida. After returning to the Pacific Northwest, I joined a State Farm agency and quickly became one of Oregon’s top producers. Eager to broaden my horizons, I later worked with an independent insurtech startup. In 2025, driven by a passion for personalized service, I launched Maverick Insurance Group.
